Traders' Ridge Resort and Dive Center is located in the island of Yap, Micronesia. The Resort includes a high-end boutique hotel built in a Victorian plantation design with 20 Junior Suites and 2 Grand Suites. Each room includes a balcony with a jungle or ocean view. The resort boasts the island's first swimming pool and pool bar as well as two of the best restaurants on Yap, The Ethnic Art Institute, Spa Retreat and Water Sports Activity Center with their own Dive center.

The Traders’ Ridge Dive Center has new boats and equipment. As a full service Resort, your equipment will be loaded onto the boats by their staff. After your dive, staff will rinse your equipment in fresh water and store it in the on-site equipment room. A full line of dive equipment for rent is offered. Nitrox is available free of charge to Traders’ Ridge guests.

The Island of Yap is a former U.S. Trust Territory, now a member of the Federated States of Micronesia and is U.S. Protectorate the uses U.S. currency. The U.S. provides military and diplomatic services. While the locals remain very traditional (most wear native island dress) they conveniently speak English. The island's government provides services such as an international airport, a hospital a decompression chamber and a community college. All areas have potable water.
