Relief manager for small resort Small waterfront resort (12 rooms) is looking for the right person to be part of the management team and act as relief management.

The position: We are looking for a third person to be part of the management team and to act as a relief manager. This is initially a four months contract with a strong possibility to be extended for a full year after. The position will start at the end of November. Job description will include: Supervising bar, restaurant, ground keeping and housekeeping staff Stocktaking and purchasing supplies. General maintenance Answering booking enquiries, Administrative tasks including supervision of the bills, recording expenses and income and wages. Looking after guests.

The Candidate: You will need to be resourceful, independent, responsible, organised, friendly, positive and self-reliant. He/she will need to have some mechanical and electrical knowledge and be able to fix basic problems and carry on maintenance of generator and pumps systems. He/she will need to be computer and web savvy. He/she will need good interpersonal skills. No previous resort management experience is necessary as you will be trained in all aspects of running a small resort but experience in related industries and/or employment that relates to the skills necessaries for the position is sought. A sense of adventure, love of nature and animals are a must! This is a great opportunity for a person interested in starting a career in resort management or looking for a lifestyle position.
