The ideal applicants will based in Taveuni, Qamea or Vanua Levu.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef looking to develop into a Head Chef, to assist in running our highly acclaimed restaurant. Our team offers a gourmet dining experience featuring high quality modern cuisine and Fijian-fusion dishes with an emphasis on fresh local produce.
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years previous experience working in a resort kitchen, ordering and monitoring supplies and working directly with the Head Chef. The position also offers a unique opportunity for advancement within the industry as the applicant will be required to cover as “Head Chef” whilst our usual Chef has his days off. We’re looking for a motivated individual willing to take on the responsibility of running a kitchen, whilst learning and advancing their skills. An attractive package will be offered to the successful applicant.
