South Pacific Forum Secretariat, Suva, Fiji Islands

The Forum Secretariat was established in 1972 by the South Pacific Forum to encourage economic and political cooperation between its member countries*, and between these states and other countries.

Staff of the Secretariat are recruited from member countries only with the exception of some technical positions funded under special arrangements such as the Lome Conventions or the Canada - South Pacific Ocean Development Program. Positions funded under these arrangements are open to citizens of relevant funding or member countries such as the European Union, African, Carribean and Pacific or Canada. Support staff are recruited from Fiji only.

The College of the Marshall Islands (North Pacific)

The College of the Marshall Islands is an autonomous community college with two-year and three-year programs. It primarily serves students from within the Micronesian region. The College is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is designated as the post-secondary institution for the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), as so enacted in RMI PL 1992-13, The College of the Marshall Islands Act. The College of the Marshall Islands offers degree and certificate programs in the areas of education, business, nursing and allied health, liberal arts, architectural engineering, and vocational education.

International School Suva, Fiji Islands

Forum Fisheries Agency, H.O. - Honiara, Solomon Islands

The South Pacific Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA) is a regional organisation established to coordinate regional fisheries policies and to promote the development of fisheries resources to ensure that maximum benefits are achieved by the peoples of the South Pacific region from their fisheries. FFA has a membership of sixteen South Pacific countries and currently employs 52 staff with its head office in Honiara, Solomon Islands. The work of the Agency is divided between five functional work areas (divisions): Economics & Marketing; Monitoring, Control & Surveillance; Legal Services; Information & Technology; and Corporate & Treaty Services.

South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO), Suva, Fiji Islands
