Audit Trainer/Consultant (Performance Auditing)

The Republic of the Marshall Islands' Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) is soliciting written proposals from any interested individual that has the knowledge, skill, and experience in providing training and consultations on generally accepted government auditing standards in relation to conduct of performance auditing of government entities, functions, program and activities. The work shall consist primarily of providing on-the-job training to OAG staff, reviewing, advising and evaluating a wide range of issues concerning audits. 

Interested parties may acquire a copy of the complete Request for Proposal (RFP) by submitting written request to the following contact, or via email to  with the subject heading, &quot;Audit Trainer/Consultant (Performance Auditing)&quot;.

The Deadline for Receipt of Request for copy of RFP is Monday, December 19th, 2011 at 5:00PM (Majuro Time).

Proposals should be prepared simply and economically, providing straightforward, concise descriptions of the Proposer's ability to fulfill the requirements of the proposal. In order to ensure a uniform review process and to obtain the maximum degree of comparability, it is required that proposals be organized and submitted in the manner prescribed in the RFP. 

To be considered, all proposals must be submitted with one (1) original and three (3) copies by 12 PM (Noon), Monday, January 23rd, 2012, to OAG. Proposals must be mailed or hand-delivered to the address indicated in the RFP. Proposals submitted after the 12:00 PM (Majuro Time), Monday, January 23rd, 2012 deadline will not be considered.]]></description>
