FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER

About the Role:

 

As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will lead the Restaurant team on a day-to-day basis as well as working with the Owners in developing longer term strategies to improve operations, customer experience and financial results. HACCP essential.

 

Your operational departments will include the Restaurant, Cafe, and Bar.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the daily operations of the Restaurant, Cafe, and Bar. You will succeed at this through working in the venue to ensure you fully understand the operational requirements, can identify daily opportunities for improvement and lead by example in service quality and processes.
  • Daily review & adaption of rosters to reflect business levels.
  • Providing leadership and mentoring of the hospitality team, front and back of house, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the department heads and marketing teams to develop a calendar of events, that drives customer visitation and satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays – this is a hands-on role with the expectation to be in and around during its busiest services.
  • Experience in hospitality management, within the resort sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with a record of building and motivating teams.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and focused on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to analyse results, identify opportunities, and drive measurable improvements.
