FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER


We are seeking a talented and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our kitchen operations at Iririki Island Resort & Spa in Vanuatu.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing resort undergoing expansion and development, offering strong career progression and the chance to shape a dynamic restaurant program across multiple outlets.

 

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations of restaurants & bars and conference facilities within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Ensure excellence and consistency in guest service and manage guest interactions with the utmost professionalism
  • Meet and greet guests, address their needs, and handle complaints professionally
  • Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations during their shift, including staff performance, food quality, and customer service. 
  • Maintain and enforce quality standards for food and beverage, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with staffs, guests, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
  • Manage food, beverages within budgets and quotas, and manage wage costs with strategic rostering.
  • Ensure staff are punctual, well-presented, and adhere to service standards
  • Quickly identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during their shift. 
  • Maximize revenue by up-selling packages and creative food and beverages.
  • Report to the Food & Beverage Director, providing feedback on operations and performance. 
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient and effective service
  • Train and supervise F&B staff, provide feedback, and address any performance issues

 

Experience Required

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as an F&B Manager or Assistant F&B Duty Manager
  • Experience in High end Multi Outlet Resort operations.
  • South Pacific Island Experience an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience in Managing large/Diverse F&B FOH teams
  • Fluent in English
  • A recognized Hospitality degree or Diploma advantageous but not essential.
  • Hands on Team Player 100% essential
